The Hydraforce 5010621 (5010621) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage in high-pressure load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized. In this state, flow from port 1 to port 2 is severely restricted. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes against its seat to block flow from port 2 to port 1 entirely. The cartridge then permits flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force of between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is overcome.
