The Hydraforce 5010596 (5010596) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve. This screw-in valve is primarily designed for use as a load holding or blocking valve in systems that demand low internal leakage at high pressures. Functionally, when de-energized, the SF0823 poppet of the valve lifts to allow open flow from port 2 to port 1 and vice versa. Upon energization, it operates as a check valve by blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming a solenoid force that requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar). The unit features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage.
