The Hydraforce 5010577N (5010577N) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically engineered for low leakage in high-pressure load-holding applications. It operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under this condition. When the valve is energized, the poppet closes firmly against its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 while permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force of between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is overcome.
