The Hydraforce 5010577 (5010577) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This model is specifically designed for low leakage in higher pressure load-holding applications. The operation of the valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the sf0821xx allows flow from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. Conversely, when the valve is energized, the poppet closes on its seat effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. In this state, flow from port 1 to port 2 is possible after overcoming a solenoid force that requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
