The Hydraforce 5010549 (5010549) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve. This screw-in valve is primarily designed to serve as a load holding or blocking valve in various applications, particularly where low internal leakage at high pressures is required. The model operates effectively by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; the SF0823 poppet lifts to facilitate this open mode. Conversely, when energized, it functions as a check valve, blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 and requiring a solenoid force of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) to overcome. This unit features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures both long life and minimal leakage. It offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations, making the cartridges voltage interchangeable.
