The Hydraforce SF08-23-0-P-12ER (5010514) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed to serve as a load holding or blocking valve in systems requiring minimal internal leakage at high pressures. The valve operates with low leakage and long life due to its hardened seat. When de-energized, the SF08-23 poppet lifts to allow flow from port 2 to port 1, and vice versa. Upon energization, it functions as a check valve, blocking flow from port 2 to port 1, with the solenoid overcoming a force within the range of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
