The Hydraforce 5010483 (5010483) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to serve as a load holding or blocking valve in systems that demand minimal internal leakage at high pressures. The unique feature of the Hydraforce 5010483 allows for the SF0823 poppet to lift and open from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, facilitating flow in both directions between these ports. Conversely, when the valve is energized, it functions effectively as a check valve by blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 until the solenoid force of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is overcome.
This model boasts several key features enhancing its functionality and durability: a continuous-duty rated coil ensures reliable operation under sustained use; a hardened seat provides extended life and maintains low leakage; and corrosion-resistant plating increases its resilience in harsh environments. Additionally, it offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations, making the cartridges voltage interchangeable. The unitized, molded coil design contributes to its robust structure while manual override options add an extra layer of operational security. For environments requiring stringent protection against water ingress, optional waterproof E-Coils are available that are rated up to IP69K. This compact-sized valve integrates seamlessly into industry-standard configurations, making it an adaptable choice for various hydraulic applications.
