The Hydraforce 5010434 (5010434) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in various applications requiring low internal leakage at high pressures. It features a unique operational mechanism where the SF0823 poppet lifts to open from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, allowing flow in both directions between these ports. Upon energization, the valve transforms into a check valve, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming the solenoid force which requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar). This model is distinguished by its continuous-duty rated coil and hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage.
