The Hydraforce 5010202 (5010202) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve that excels in load-holding applications due to its design for low leakage. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under these conditions. Once energized, the valve's poppet closes against its seat effectively blocking the flow from port 2 to port 1. The cartridge will facilitate flow from port 1 to port 2 only after overcoming the solenoid force.
