The Hydraforce 5009745N (5009745N) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically engineered for low leakage in high-pressure load-holding applications. The operation of this valve involves allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is severely restricted under these conditions. Upon energization, the valve's poppet seals against its seat to block flow from port 2 to port 1 entirely. To enable flow from port 1 to port 2 when the valve is energized, a pressure range of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) must be overcome. This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and corrosion-resistant plating which enhances durability and performance in challenging environments.
