The Hydraforce 5009736 (5009736) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This product is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in various applications that demand low internal leakage at high pressures. The SF0823 poppet of the valve lifts to open from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, allowing flow also from port 1 to port 2. Conversely, when the valve is energized, it acts as a check valve by blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming a solenoid force that requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar). This unit features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage. It offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations, making the cartridges voltage interchangeable. The design includes a unitized, molded coil and provides an option for manual override.
