The Hydraforce 5009700S (5009700S) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open hydraulic cartridge valve designed for low leakage in high-pressure load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is severely restricted under these conditions. When the valve is energized, the poppet closes tightly on its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 and permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming the solenoid force which requires a pressure range of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar). The Hydraforce 5009700S features a continuous-duty rated coil and corrosion-resistant plating that enhances its durability and suitability for rigorous use.
