The Hydraforce 5009700 (5009700) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve tailored for low leakage in high-pressure load-holding applications. It operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; this flow is severely restricted from port 1 to port 2 under the same conditions. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes against its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 while permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force of between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is overcome. The unit boasts a continuous-duty rated coil and features corrosion-resistant plating and a hardened seat that ensures longevity and minimal leakage.
