The Hydraforce 5009342 (5009342) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications, making it an essential component for systems requiring reliable performance under high-pressure conditions. The SV0821 model functions by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under these conditions. Upon energization, the valve’s poppet closes firmly against its seat to block flow from port 2 to port 1 completely. This cartridge valve is distinguished by its continuous-duty rated coil and hardened seat which ensure long life and minimal leakage. It supports various optional coil voltages and terminations, providing flexibility for different system requirements. Additionally, the cartridges are voltage interchangeable which enhances adaptability across different applications. The unitized, molded coil design contributes to the robustness of the valve, while the manual override option offers an additional layer of operational security. Moreover, an optional waterproof E-Coil rated up to IP69K can be selected for environments where exposure to water and dust is a concern. Its industry common cavity makes it compatible with standard configurations, simplifying installation processes. The compact size of the Hydraforce 5009342 facilitates its integration into a variety of hydraulic systems without requiring extensive space modifications.
