The Hydraforce 5006418 (5006418) is a solenoid-operated, 3-port, direct-acting, spool-type, screw-in hydraulic directional valve designed for efficient control in hydraulic systems. This compact unit features a precise and durable hardened precision spool and cage, ensuring long service life even under demanding conditions. The SV0830 model operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, while blocking flow at port 3. Upon energization, the cartridge's spool shifts to open the flow from port 3 to port 2 and blocks the flow out of port 1. Notably, while port 1 can be fully pressurized, it is not designed to serve as the inlet.
This valve is notable for its continuous-duty rated coil and efficient wet-armature construction which contribute to reliable performance and reduced downtime. The unitized, molded coil design alongside optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K make this valve suitable for various environmental conditions without compromising functionality. Furthermore, it offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations to accommodate different system requirements.
Additional user-friendly features include a manual override option and a fully guided spool that enhances operational control. Its industry common cavity design allows for straightforward integration into existing systems without extensive modifications. This makes the Hydraforce 5006418 an ideal choice for applications requiring robust performance in compact spaces within hydraulic circuits.
