The Hydraforce 5004378 (5004378) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally open, poppet-type, proportional, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed for low leakage blocking and load-holding applications. This valve functions effectively by allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 when energized, acting as a check valve. Conversely, when de-energized, the poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1.
