The Hydraforce 5004244 (5004244) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally open, poppet-type, proportional screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed for low leakage blocking and load-holding applications. The operation of this model is straightforward: when energized, the SP1021 configuration acts as a check valve, permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking flow in the reverse direction. Conversely, when de-energized, the poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1. This valve features a continuous-duty rated coil and efficient wet-armature construction which enhances its reliability and performance under continuous operational conditions.
