The Hydraforce 5003629 (5003629) is a solenoid operated, direct acting, 3 position, 4-way, closed center spool, proportional directional control valve. This screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve is engineered for use with general-purpose hydraulic fluids. It features a manual override option which can be utilized as needed. The operation of the valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the SP0847CX blocks flow to all ports. Energizing coil 1 allows flow from port 3 to port 4 and from port 2 to port 1; energizing coil 2 permits flow from port 3 to port 2 and from port 4 to port 1. It's important to note that while port 1 can be fully pressurized, it is not intended as the inlet for the valve.
The Hydraforce model boasts several key features enhancing its utility and durability. These include a continuous-duty rated solenoid and a hardened precision spool and cage which ensure long life even under demanding conditions. Optional coil voltages and terminations expand its adaptability across different systems, while an optional waterproof E-Coil rated up to IP69K offers protection against dust and high-temperature high-pressure washdowns. Its efficient wet-armature construction along with cartridges being voltage interchangeable provide flexibility in usage. Additionally, it exhibits good linearity and hysteresis properties which are crucial for precise control tasks in hydraulic systems. The valve fits an industry-common cavity making it a versatile choice for integration into various hydraulic circuits.
