The Hydraforce SP10-20-8T-N-12DG (5003565) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, proportional screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically engineered for low leakage blocking and load-holding applications. This valve functions as a check valve when deenergized, allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to facilitate the flow from port 2 to port 1. It features a continuous-duty rated coil and efficient wet-armature construction.
This model includes manual override options and can be equipped with optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K, ensuring robust performance in harsh environments. The valve fits an industry-common cavity which simplifies installation processes. Additionally, it offers metering capabilities for precise control of fluid flow.
The SP10-20-8T-N-12DG can withstand pressure up to 250 bar (3625 psi), with proof pressures reaching up to 345 bar (5000 psi) and burst pressures at a maximum of 827 bar (12000 psi). It supports operating fluid temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C with Buna N seals, -26°C to +204°C with Viton seals, and -54°C to +107°C with polyurethane seals. The valve is compatible with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids having a viscosity range of 7.4 to 420 cSt.
For installation purposes, it utilizes a VC102 cavity and can be installed using cartridge installation torque between 44.9 and 50.3 Nm. The design does not impose any orientation restrictions during installation, offering flexibility in system design. Accessories such as seal kits (SK102XT) and housings for the SP10 series valves are also available for enhanced customization and maintenance capabilities.
