The Hydraforce 5003481 (5003481) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally open, poppet type proportional hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications, making it highly effective in maintaining stability and control in hydraulic systems. The SP0821 model allows flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized and restricts flow from port 1 to port 2. As the valve becomes partially energized, as indicated by the performance curve, it begins to throttle the flow from port 2 to port 1. Full energization results in the valve's poppet closing on the seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1.
