The Hydraforce 5003001 (5003001) is a solenoid-operated, 2-position, 3-way, bidirectional blocking, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications, making it a reliable choice for controlling the flow in hydraulic systems. The operation of the SV3838 model is straightforward: when de-energized, it blocks flow from port 3 to port 2 or from port 2 to port 3. Conversely, when energized, the valve blocks flow from port 2 to port 1 or from port 1 to port 2.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensure long life and minimal leakage. It also offers optional coil voltages and terminations to accommodate different system requirements. The efficient wet-armature construction enhances its performance while the cartridges are voltage interchangeable which provides flexibility for system integration. The unitized, molded coil design contributes to its robustness and durability.
Additionally, the Hydraforce 5003001 offers optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K, providing excellent protection against ingress of dust and high-temperature high-pressure water jets. This feature makes it suitable for use in environments where moisture or particulate contamination is a concern. Furthermore, its industry-common cavity allows for easy installation and compatibility with existing systems without the need for extensive modifications.
