The Hydraforce 5002968 (5002968) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, direct-acting, spool-type, screw-in hydraulic directional valve designed for high-pressure circuits. This model functions efficiently to control the direction of the flow in hydraulic systems. Specifically, when the SV3830X is de-energized, it facilitates flow from port 2 to port 1 while simultaneously blocking the flow at port 3. Conversely, once energized, the cartridge's spool shifts to allow flow from port 3 to port 2 and blocks flow out of port 1. Notably, although port 1 can be fully pressurized, it should not be used as the inlet. This valve's configuration and operation make it suitable for applications requiring reliable control over fluid direction in a compact form factor.
