The Hydraforce 5001618 (5001618) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, poppet type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically crafted for minimal leakage in load-holding applications. This valve operates by lifting the SV0823X poppet to open the flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; flow is also permissible from port 1 to port 2 in this state. Upon energization, the cartridge functions as a check valve allowing flow exclusively from port 1 to port 2 while blocking it from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming a solenoid force that requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar). It features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures both long life and low leakage. The design includes optional coil voltages and terminations making the cartridges voltage interchangeable. Additional features include a unitized, molded coil design, and an optional manual override.
