The Hydraforce 5001443 (5001443) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve functions by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under the same condition. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes firmly on its seat to block the flow from port 2 to port 1 entirely. The cartridge permits flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force is overcome.
