The Hydraforce 5001440 (5001440) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is particularly designed for low leakage blocking and load holding applications. It functions as a check valve when de-energized, allowing hydraulic fluid to flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, permitting bidirectional flow. This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage.
