The Hydraforce 5001006 (5001006) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve is engineered to allow flow from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2 when de-energized. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes firmly on its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 and allowing flow in the opposite direction after overcoming the solenoid force.
This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and maintains low leakage levels critical for efficient operation. It offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations, making the cartridges interchangeable across various voltage requirements. The unitized, molded coil design enhances durability and reliability of operation.
Furthermore, the Hydraforce 5001006 comes with a manual override option which provides additional operational control. For environments requiring robust protection against water ingress, there are optional waterproof E-Coils available that are rated up to IP69K. The compact size of this valve coupled with its industry common cavity design allows for ease of installation and compatibility with standard cavities in hydraulic systems. This makes it an ideal choice for various hydraulic applications requiring precise control over fluid flow and pressure maintenance.
