The Hydraforce 5000916 (5000916) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily to function as a blocking or load-holding device for low flow circuits. The operation of this valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the sf0820x acts as a check valve allowing hydraulic fluid to flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts, opening the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting the flow in the opposite direction. This model is equipped with a continuous-duty rated coil and features a hardened seat that ensures long life and minimal leakage. The valve offers optional coil voltages and terminations, making it versatile for various applications. The cartridges are voltage interchangeable which allows for flexibility in system design or upgrades. Additionally, its unitized, molded coil design enhances durability and reliability. For environments requiring robust performance against moisture and dust, optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K are available. The corrosion-resistant plating of this valve stands up to 960 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117 standards, ensuring extended service life even under harsh conditions. Its industry common cavity design facilitates easy installation and maintenance while its compact size allows for integration into space-constrained applications.
