The Hydraforce 5000818 (5000818) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily to function as a blocking or load-holding device for low flow circuits. Its operational dynamics allow it to act as a check valve when de-energized, facilitating flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts within the cartridge, opening the pathway from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting flow in the opposite direction. This valve is distinguished by its continuous-duty rated coil and hardened seat which ensure longevity and minimal leakage respectively. It offers flexibility in application with optional coil voltages and terminations, and its cartridges are voltage interchangeable. The unit features a unitized, molded coil design and can be equipped with optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K for maximum durability against moisture ingress.
