The Hydraforce 5000627 (5000627) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily to function as a blocking or load-holding device for low flow circuits. This valve operates uniquely; when de-energized, it acts as a check valve allowing hydraulic fluid to flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the cartridge’s poppet lifts to open the pathway from port 2 to port 1, while simultaneously restricting flow in the opposite direction.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and minimal leakage. It offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations, making the cartridges voltage interchangeable. The unitized, molded coil design enhances durability and reliability of operation. For environments requiring robust protection against moisture and dust, optional waterproof E-Coils are available which are rated up to IP69K. Additionally, it boasts corrosion-resistant plating which withstands up to 960 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117 standards. Its compact size and industry common cavity design facilitate ease of installation and compatibility across various applications. This makes the Hydraforce 5000627 an efficient solution for controlling fluid flow in hydraulic systems requiring precise operation under varying conditions.
