The Hydraforce 5000584 (5000584) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for use as a blocking or load-holding device in low flow circuits. The operation of the valve is straightforward: when de-energized, it functions as a check valve, permitting fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while preventing flow in the reverse direction. Upon energization, the valve's poppet lifts to enable flow from port 2 to port 1, though in this state, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted. This model boasts a continuous-duty rated coil and features a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage.
