The Hydraforce 5000579 (5000579) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily to function as a blocking or load-holding device in low flow circuits. Its operation is twofold: when de-energized, the sf0820x model acts as a check valve by allowing fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the cartridge's poppet lifts to enable flow from port 2 to port 1; however, in this state, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted. This model boasts a continuous-duty rated coil and features a hardened seat which ensures prolonged life and minimal leakage.
