The Hydraforce 5000515 (5000515) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed for low leakage blocking and load-holding applications. When the SV0822 model is de-energized, it functions as a check valve that permits fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while preventing flow in the opposite direction. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open up the flow path from port 2 to port 1, allowing bidirectional flow. This feature makes it versatile for various hydraulic circuits.
The valve boasts a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures longevity and maintains low leakage over its lifespan. It offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations, making the cartridges voltage interchangeable. The unitized, molded coil design enhances durability and reliability of operation. For environments requiring robust performance, there are optional waterproof E-Coils available that are rated up to IP69K. Additionally, this model includes a manual override option which increases its utility in emergency or maintenance scenarios.
Compact in size and conforming to industry common cavity specifications, the Hydraforce 5000515 integrates seamlessly into existing systems without requiring extensive modifications. Its design caters effectively to essential functions in hydraulic systems requiring precise control of fluid handling and direction.
