The Hydraforce 5000488 (5000488) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for use as a blocking or load-holding device in low flow circuits. This model operates by allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized. Upon energization, the cartridge's poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, while severely restricting the flow from port 1 to port 2. The unit features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and minimal leakage. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations, making the cartridges voltage interchangeable.
