The Hydraforce 5000327 (5000327) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily to function as a blocking or load-holding device for low flow circuits. The operation of the valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the sf0820x acts as a check valve, permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 and blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting flow in the opposite direction.
This model boasts several features enhancing its functionality and durability. It is equipped with a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and minimal leakage. The unit offers optional coil voltages and terminations, making it adaptable to various operational requirements. Additionally, all cartridges are voltage interchangeable which provides flexibility in usage across different systems with varying power supplies.
For environments requiring robust performance, optional waterproof E-Coils are available that are rated up to IP69K. Furthermore, the valve benefits from corrosion-resistant plating that withstands up to 960 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117 standards, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. Its industry common cavity design facilitates easy integration or replacement in multiple systems. Lastly, its compact size allows for installation in space-constrained applications without sacrificing performance.
