The Hydraforce 5000259 (5000259) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily for low flow circuits where it functions as a blocking or load-holding device. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 when in a de-energized state, acting much like a check valve. Conversely, when the valve is energized, the poppet lifts to enable flow from port 2 to port 1, while simultaneously restricting the flow in the opposite direction from port 1 to port 2.
Among its notable features are a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensure long life and minimal leakage. The unit is built with optional coil voltages and terminations which provide flexibility for various application needs.
