The Hydraforce 5000253 (5000253) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily to function as a blocking or load-holding device suitable for low flow circuits. This model operates by allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 when de-energized, acting similarly to a check valve. Conversely, when energized, the cartridge's poppet lifts to permit flow from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting the flow in the opposite direction.
