The Hydraforce 5000250 (5000250) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily for use as a blocking or load-holding device in low flow circuits. The operation of this valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the 5000250 functions as a check valve, permitting fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while preventing flow in the opposite direction. Upon energization, the cartridge's poppet lifts to facilitate flow from port 2 to port 1, although in this state, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted.
