The Hydraforce 5000237 (5000237) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily to function as a blocking or load-holding device for low-flow circuits. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 when de-energized, acting effectively as a check valve. Conversely, when energized, the cartridge’s poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting flow in the opposite direction. The model boasts a continuous-duty rated coil and features a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations to suit varying requirements, and its cartridges are voltage interchangeable which enhances versatility. The unitized, molded coil design contributes to its robustness and reliability in operation. Additionally, it provides optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K for optimal performance in harsh environments. The valve is also treated with corrosion-resistant plating that can withstand up to 960 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117 standards, ensuring durability and consistent performance even under challenging conditions. Its compact size and industry-common cavity design facilitate easy installation and maintenance, making it an ideal choice for integrating into various hydraulic systems requiring precise flow control and load holding capabilities.
