The Hydraforce 5000179 (5000179) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage blocking and load holding applications. The operation of this model is straightforward: when de-energized, the SV0822 functions as a check valve allowing hydraulic fluid to flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1.
