The Hydraforce 5000144 (5000144) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, piloted poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed primarily for use as a blocking or load-holding device in low flow circuits. The operational dynamics of this valve allow it to function as a check valve when de-energized, facilitating flow from port 1 to port 2 while preventing flow in the reverse direction. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to enable flow from port 2 to port 1, although in this state, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted.
