The Bosch Rexroth 3WE 6 A6X/EG24N9DA/62 (R978890007) is a high-performance directional spool valve designed for controlling the start, stop, and direction of flow in hydraulic systems. This solenoid-operated valve is characterized by its robust housing, one or two electromagnets, a control spool, and return springs. The control spool can be manually actuated via an auxiliary device when needed. This particular model features two switching positions and operates without spring return, meaning it does not have a defined basic position when de-energized. The lack of spring return is suitable for symbols A, C, and D. Additionally, the valve offers an energy-efficient operation with the option of detent (OF), which holds the control spool in place without continuous electromagnetic power. The 3WE 6 A6X/EG24N9DA/62 is designed with soft switching behavior to minimize switching strokes and reduce system wear. It accommodates various porting patterns according to ISO standards and includes options for high-power solenoid rotation and electrical connections either as single or central connections. Spool position monitoring is also available as an optional feature. This directional valve has a size component series X with a maximum operating pressure of up to bar and allows for maximum flow rates of DC l/min and AC l/min. It ensures CE conformity for electrical voltages above VAC or VDC, with optional UL approval marked UR according to UL edition. Additionally, CSA C No. approval is available as an option. It's important to note that separate return lines or check valves are recommended to prevent unintentional control spool movements due to pressure peaks in the drain line when using the detent version. Also, internal leakage inherent in the valve design may increase over its service life. To manage excessive flows during switching processes that exceed performance limits, the use of a throttle insert may be required under certain operating conditions.
