The Bosch Rexroth 4WRZ10E85-7X/6EG24N9EK4/D3M-674 (R901278964) is a pilot-operated proportional directional valve, designed to control the direction and size of fluid flow in hydraulic systems. This model is part of the WRZE series, which utilizes proportional solenoids for actuation. The valve comprises a pilot control valve with solenoids and a main valve with a main control spool and centering spring. When the solenoids are deenergized, the main control spool remains in a central position due to the centering spring. Upon energizing solenoid b, for instance, the pilot control valve directs pilot oil into the pressure chamber, causing proportional displacement of the main control spool relative to the electrical input signal. This action allows for controlled connection from port P to A and B to T through orifice-type cross-sections yielding progressive flow characteristics. Pilot oil can be supplied internally via port P or externally through port X. Additionally, an optional manual override feature enables manual adjustment of the control spool without solenoid activation; however, caution must be exercised as accidental use may lead to unintended machine movements.
