The Bosch Rexroth 4WE6E6X/EW115N9K4/62 (R901227944) is a high-performance directional spool valve designed to control the start, stop, and direction of fluid flow within a hydraulic system. This solenoid-operated valve features two switching positions and two high-power electromagnets without detent, meaning it does not have a defined basic position when de-energized. It is built for reliable operation with a maximum operating pressure of up to 350 bar and supports maximum flow rates of 60 l/min for DC and AC. The model includes porting patterns that comply with ISO standards, with options for including or excluding a locating hole. The electromagnets can be optionally rotated by 90 degrees, providing flexibility in installation. Electrical connections are available as either single or central connections, catering to different system requirements. Additionally, an optional auxiliary actuation allows for manual operation in the absence of magnet supply. For applications requiring precise spool position monitoring, this feature can be included as well. The valve ensures CE conformity according to the Low-Voltage Directive EU for electrical voltages greater than 50 VAC or 75 VDC. Furthermore, the solenoid coil comes with an approved component UR marking according to UL508 standards (optional), and an approval according to CSA C22.2 No. 0-M91 is also optional for additional safety and compliance assurance. In terms of design notices, it's important to consider that pressure peaks in the drain line may cause unintended control spool movements in versions with detent; thus separate return lines or check valves are recommended. Also, internal leakage inherent in the design may increase over the service life of the valve. For applications where operating conditions cause flows exceeding the performance limit during switching processes, the use of a throttle insert is required with this valve type WE...EX...E.... This ensures proper function and longevity of the valve within hydraulic systems that demand precise control over fluid dynamics.
