The Bosch Rexroth 4WRZ16E1-150-7X/6EG24N9K4/D3V (R900950124) is a pilot-operated proportional directional valve designed to manage the flow direction and size in hydraulic systems. This model is characterized by its ability to actuate via proportional solenoids, ensuring precise control over hydraulic operations. The valve features a main valve with a main control spool and centering spring, as well as a pilot control valve that directs the movement of the main spool. When solenoids are de-energized, the main control spool remains in the central position due to the centering spring. Upon energization, the pilot control valve proportionally shifts the main control spool based on the electric input signal, allowing for controlled movement and flow regulation from port P to ports A and B or vice versa. The WRZE series valves include an additional port R for specific applications. The setup allows for internal or external pilot oil supply via ports P or X respectively, and features progressive flow characteristics through orifice-type cross-sections. An optional manual override allows for manual actuation of the control spool even when solenoids are not energized; however, caution must be exercised to prevent unintended machine movements.
