It features two switching positions and is operated by two electromagnets, without spring return or detent, meaning it does not have a defined rest position when de-energized. This version of the valve allows for energy-efficient operation since it does not require a permanent current supply to maintain its position when equipped with detent. The valve includes a housing, electromagnets, control spool, and return springs that work together to move the spool from its rest position to the desired end position upon magnetization. An auxiliary actuation feature permits manual switching without magnet supply. For proper functioning, it is essential that the hydraulic system be adequately vented.
