The Bosch Rexroth 4WE6E67-6X/EG24N9K4/T06 (R900572738) is a high-performance directional spool valve designed for controlling the start, stop, and direction of flow in hydraulic systems. This model features two solenoid-operated electromagnets and does not have a spring return, meaning it doesn't default to a basic position when de-energized. It is equipped with an auxiliary actuation for manual operation without magnet supply and requires proper system venting for optimal functionality. The valve's design includes housing, control spool, return springs (except version O), and electromagnets which facilitate the movement of the control spool to achieve the desired flow direction upon energization. When de-energized, versions with detent OF maintain the control spool in position without needing a continuous current supply, enhancing energy efficiency. The valve's construction ensures soft switching behavior, significantly reducing switching strokes and associated acceleration values. It comes in both 3-way and 4-way versions with porting patterns according to ISO standards. The unit can be specified with or without a locating hole. A high-power solenoid that is optionally rotatable provides flexibility in installation while offering options for single or central electrical connections. Additional features include optional auxiliary operating devices, spool position monitoring, CE conformity for specific electrical voltages, UL-approved solenoid coils, and optional CSA approval. It is essential to use a throttle insert under certain operating conditions where flows during switching processes may exceed the performance limit of the valve.
