The Bosch Rexroth SL10PB1-4X/M (R900443419) is a high-quality isolator valve designed for subplate mounting or threaded connections, ensuring leakage-free blocking of one actuator port even during extended periods of inactivity. The valve comprises a robust housing, seat poppet, compression spring, control spool, and an optional preopening as a ball seat valve. It permits unidirectional flow from A to B without external pilot pressure and achieves hydraulic tightness in the reverse direction when pA is greater than pB due to the cracking pressure of the compression spring. For activation, sufficient pilot pressure at port X displaces the control spool towards the ball seat valve in version A, lifting the seat poppet from its seat for bidirectional flow. The functionality of this valve is influenced by pressure ratios and area ratios on both sides of the control spool or seat poppet. The SL10PB1-4X/M comes in two versions: Version A with preopening and Version B without preopening. Version A features a two-stage setup with increased control open ratio that allows secure unloading even at low pilot pressures while minimizing switching shocks by dampened decompression. Conversely, Version B may unload pressure suddenly, potentially causing premature wear and noise. Additionally, this model offers an option for a built-on directional valve (Version U), allowing direct control over the seat poppet against system pressure. The SL series valves come with various options such as pilot oil return without preopening (Type SL..PB.XU...), different cracking pressures, and check valve installation sets sold separately. These valves are designed for use with various ISO standard porting patterns (ISO NG6, NG10) and can accommodate maximum operating pressures up to several hundred bar with maximum flow rates measured in liters per minute. Their corrosion-protected design ensures longevity even under harsh conditions. Optional attachments for directional spool valves or directional seat valves provide additional versatility, making these valves suitable for diverse hydraulic applications requiring reliable actuator port blocking.
