The Bosch Rexroth LFA40KWA-7X/P10 (R900938135) is a sophisticated way cartridge valve engineered for integration into a compact block design. This valve is specifically crafted to fit standardized receiving holes according to ISO norms and is sealed with a cover that also serves as the conduit for the control side to the pilot control valves. The LFA40KWA-7X/P10 is versatile in its application, allowing for pressure, directional, and throttle functions, or a combination thereof. By adjusting the size to match various flow rates of an actuator's individual ways, it provides an efficient and cost-effective solution. The construction of this way cartridge valve includes a control cover that houses the control bores and may include additional features such as stroke limitation, hydraulically controlled directional seat valves, or shuttle valves depending on the required function. Optionally, electrically operated directional spool or seat valves can be accommodated as well. The installation kit comprises components such as a bushing, ring (up to NG), valve poppet (with or without damping nose), and closing spring. This valve's function is pressure-dependent with three critical pressurized areas (A1, A2, A3) influencing its operation. The area ratios between these pressurized areas determine the spool position by balancing opening and closing forces. The LFA40KWA-7X/P10 allows fluid passage from A to B or vice versa while ensuring that channel A remains leak-free when pressurized. It comes in Standard series Size 40 with Component series X and X2 options. It can withstand a maximum operating pressure of up to 350 bar and facilitates a maximum flow rate of 400 l/min. Different area ratios are available along with various springs which allow for different cracking pressures, making this valve adaptable for diverse hydraulic requirements within its operational specifications.
