The Hydraforce 5911225.01 (5911225.01) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for lower flow circuits that require low internal leakage. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the spring-opposed poppet off its seat. It features various pressure adjustment options, including non-adjustable factory presets, and adjustments with positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. The RV08-20X offers optional spring ranges up to 248 bar (3600 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes. Additionally, it can be equipped with an optional bi-directional pressure seal for bi-directional pressure applications. Its compact size makes it suitable for space-constrained installations. This product has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model, which offers improved performance characteristics such as better pressure rise characteristics and a smaller size while maintaining comparable pressure and flow ratings and response rates. The VC08-2B cavity variation is required for certain applications, and some manifolds may allow for drop-in replacement of this valve with the newer model.
