The Hydraforce 5911154.17 (5911154.17) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. It operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing for fast response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage. The RV10-20X model is applicable in existing and new applications, though it has been noted that the RVD58-20 valve offers superior performance and can functionally replace this model in most scenarios due to its better pressure rise characteristics and smaller size. However, the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
